Our Delivery Specialists are integral to getting things done for customers. When Dell is contracted to deliver services, anywhere around the world, Delivery Specialists make sure our innovative technical solutions meet specifications. They also plan, direct and coordinate the full range of organizational and technical activities required to deliver on our promises. Getting this right involves building up in-depth knowledge of clients priorities, challenges and initiatives as a trusted advisor. This also enables our team to identify potential sales opportunities. Together with colleagues in sales and Global SMEs, they develop strategic plans for account growth.
Key Responsibilities
The role will be based on customer premises and main responsibilities include the following
- Support and management of the storage operations environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve any incidents raised
- Conduct Performance Analysis of the storage environment
- Management of the SAN switch environment
- Management of the DR configuration
- Management of all technical documentation associated with the storage operations environment
- Essential Requirements
- DellEMC ViPR-C
- DellEMC VMAX3,
- DellEMC VNX and Unity Block and NAS.
- DellEMC VPLEX
- DellEMC RecoverPoint
- DellEMC Centera as archive storage with Cloud Teiring Appliance (CTA)
Desirable Requirements
- Working knowledge in VMware VSAN.
- Working knowledge in Storage technologies SAN/NAS/CAS/FC/NFS/CIFS/iSCSI, etc.
- Working knowledge of Solaris/Unix/Linux and Windows clustering technologies will be a plus.
- Present new technology and high level resolutions to management.
- If needed, provide knowledge transfer to company IT technical staff.
